Get ready because Season 24 of Dancing With the Stars is coming together with a star-studded lineup!

It has been announced that Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Mr. T will be going for that mirror ball trophy along with a few other confirmed celebrities.

Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan will also join the celebrity list as well as Normani Kordei from Fifth Harmony.

Media outlets have also reported that Nick Viall from ABC’s The Bachelor will also make an appearance on the show.  When asked if he would ever join the show, this is what Nick had to say, “I mean, I haven’t given it much thought. I think it would be fun, you know?” Right now I am focused on being The Bachelor. [But] if they asked — I mean, I don’t think I would say my first thought wouldn’t be no, but I think anyone would feel lucky to even be considered.”

As for Simone Biles, she was unable to compete during Season 23 because of her scheduling but now it’s on! Simone says, “I would love to [join DWTS], but the fall season won’t work because [of] the tour.  If I could do the spring season, I would love to do that!”

ON ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS’: “Dancing With the Stars” is a show I always watched with my grandma, and it was one of my favorite shows, but more importantly one of her favorite shows. It was always captivating to see two people grow and have this journey with each other and maybe not win but come out stronger in the end. This happened really quickly, there was a meeting and then a month later we had confirmation.”

She added, “I definitely know that it is going to be tough; the mental and physical preparedness is going to come as we progress in the show, week by week. I am also going to be traveling so I have to be totally prepared all around.”

ON HER SOLO MUSIC: “I’m actually really excited to figure that out…it’s definitely more R&B and more soul because we’re generally pop [and] urban. But I definitely have more soul than I’ve been given the opportunity to showcase and offer.”

She added, “I kind of have to take pieces of myself to fit what it is that radio wants…I just feel like I haven’t been able to showcase my full potential. I hate the fact that people can judge based on something that isn’t fully given to them. Like this isn’t the full product. This isn’t all I have to offer, so don’t judge based on this little piece of what you’re given. I have so much in me that people don’t even know, and I can’t wait to offer it to them.”

ON FIFTH HARMONY: They are her “number one priority”. She added, “I feel like 2016 was definitely a great year and we kind of escalated and started moving up, but I feel like we haven’t actually reached our full potential yet. I feel like in this year, it’s definitely going to happen.”

When Nomani Kordei stepped onto the ballroom dance floor, not only did she perform beautifully but, she also had an appearance from her Fifth Harmony girls.

This week on Dancing with the Stars, it was ‘Most Memorable Year’ and so for Normani, she picked the year of 2012, when she auditioned for X Factor and joined Fifth Harmony.  Not only did Normani dedicate her performance to her entire family but she also dedicated her performance to 5H.

Before Normani performed the rumba with her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, she sang the opening part to Shontelle’s ‘Impossible’, followed by the rest of Fifth Harmony.  You might remember the song ‘Impossible’ … it was performed many times when the girls were on X Factor.  After Normani’s performance, she walked toward her bandmates and they all brought it in for a hug.

“It was such a special moment.  I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in without these beautiful girls and I recognize that. They make up [for] all of my weaknesses, and I thank them for that.” – Normani to co-host Erin Andrews.

Val also shared, “I’ve been on tour with them for three weeks now.  It’s a beautiful thing to see them collectively celebrate each other’s individuality.”

Afterwards, Normani and Val scored a total of 32 out of 40 on their performance.

JoJo, an 18-year old who identifies as gay and queer, will compete as part of the first same-sex pairing on DWTS. “I think it breaks a wall that’s never been broken down before,” JoJo says.

JoJo continues, “It’s normal for a girl to dance with a guy, and I think that’s really cool, but it’s really special that now not only do I get to share with the world that you get to love who you love, but also you get to dance with who you want to dance with.  It’s going to give so much to people out there, people of the LGBTQ community, everyone, people who feel just a little different.  I want to make it OK for the people who come after me.”

Tyra Banks, host of DWTS, says she’s ‘proud of JoJo and the show for allowing the pairing to happen,’ “I think it’s going to save lives.  I think it’s going to change lives, and it’s going to make a lot of noise, and the noise that needs to be made.”

And when it comes to dance competitions, JoJo is no stranger to them.  She previously appeared on Dance Moms, a show produced by Abby Lee Miller, “I just want to do really good.  I’m traumatized as a child getting spray tans for dance competitions.”

Mel C. Hints About Spice Girls Reunion & Jojo Siwa Shows Us Her Charcuterie Board!

It’s Britney bi*ch! As ‘Dancing With The Stars’ celebrates Britney night! Mel C brought out her Spice Girl energy with  partner Gleb Savchenko for a tango to “Toxic”.

After the show Damnit Maurie of The Roz & Mocha Show asked Mel if we’ll see these Britney moves and outfit in the inevitable upcoming Spice Girls reunion! She laughed, saying that we’ll probably see them backstage. She revealed about how she and the other girls talk all the time about wanting to tour. “That’s the plan!” she said. “Yeah, myself, Emma, Melanie and Gerri constantly talk about getting back out on the road”. (Notice she doesn’t mention Posh)

It was revealed earlier this week that Cody Rigsby & Cheryl Burke would be dancing from home, as they both recover from COVID. Roz & Mocha took issue with this debating that in any other competition if you can’t compete in-person you should be eliminated from the competition.

After testing positive for COVID-19, both Cody Rigsby and pro partner Cheryl Burke had to get creative. Using a split screen, Rigsby and Burke both had their own moments and tried to keep in time with each other as they did a jazz performance to Britney’s “Gimme More”.

Damnit Maurie got Mel C’s take on if they should still be in the competition. Mel C strongly feels they should be: “We’re living in unprecedented times and this could happen to any of us,” she stated.

Another highlight from the evening was Jojo Siwa and her pro partner Jenna Johnson who performed an Argentine Tango to Britney’s hit “…Baby, One More Time”.

After the show, Jojo opened up to Damnit Maurie about what Britney means to her and why this themed night was so special to her: “Britney to me is one of the most iconic people alive right now!” adding “She is so talented and so legendary…if aliens could look up to Britney Spears, they would!” Damnit Maurie also commended Jojo and Jenna on the massive step they’ve taken for the LGBT2QS+ community and asked if they feel it’s resonating well. “It absolutely is!” Jojo said. “The response has been so good…Because it’s normal to us, it’s normal to the world,” she adds.

Expecting the answer to be burger and fries, Maurie wanted to know how Jojo and Jenna celebrate after a kick-ass performance, only to find out they celebrate with a charcuterie board that would even impress Antoni from ‘Queer Eye’.

And finally, Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess dance the Tango to Britney’s “Till The World Ends”

Who is blowing up Brian Austin Green‘s phone during his time on ‘Dancing With The Stars’? He tells Damnit Maurie that “Shannen [Doherty] reached out…That was a really cool one. Ian [Ziering] of course reached out, he’s awesome.”
