Snooki might be headed to Dancing With the Stars. Us Weekly reported that the Jersey Shore star is among the celebrities in talks to join season 13 of the ABC reality hit. Snooki’s Jersey Shore housemate Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino competed with Karina Smirnoff on season 11.

24-year-old Rob Kardashian is also reportedly in discussions to join the show. A source told the magazine:

“Rob is such a low-key guy, so it would be interesting to see if he’d come out of his shell.”

Other bold-faced names supposedly on the short list? Mike Tyson and Christina Milian.

ABC never comments on prospective cast members until an official announcement is made.

Season 13 premieres on September 19th.

Which one is the Star?

The first celeb cast of 2012 will feature Melrose Place/General Hospital hunk Jack Wagner, Melissa Gilbert of Little House On The Prairie fame, former Green Bay Packer Donald Driver, Telenovela star William Levy, The View’s Sherri Shepherd, singers Catherine Jenkins and Gavin DeGraw, tennis superstar Martina Navratilova, Disney actor Roshon Fegan, TV personality Maria Menounos, Jaleel White, who played “Urkle” on Family Matters and singing icon Gladys Knight.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars premieres on ABC with a two-hour episode Monday, March 19 at 8… Good line up, or disappointing?

This is going to sound kind of weird but when I was on the Wikipedia page for Dancing With The Stars today I found something interesting. My proof (or lack thereof) is after the jump.

Like many reality shows, Dancing With The Stars has international versions. E.g. Dancing With The Stars Peru, Dancing With The Stars China, Dancing With The Stars Estonia, like etc.

The reason I think I stumbled onto something is because on the Wikipedia page there’s a sub section for Canada. But, there’s nothing in the article. So I’m guessing that there is a ‘Dancing With The Stars Canada’ in the works! I mean, why even create a sub-section if there’s no show, right?

Yup … Bono is about to OVERtake Paul McCartney as the world’s richest rock star. It turns out the U2 frontman has a private equity firm called Elevation Partners own 2.3 percent of Facebook’s shares after they invested $90 M back in 2009. Well, after today’s IPO those shares are now worth $1.5B. This will slingshot Bono into top spot as world’s most filthy stinking rich rock star.

Have Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim buried the hatchet?

Nope. And according to Lil Kim’s interview with a New York radio station it’ll never happen. Kim’s still upset because she believes Nicki ripped off her style. So, when the host asked if there is a chance the two will ever kiss and make up … Kim said:

“We’re not having a conversation. It’s not gonna be hashed out. It’s not gonna happen.”

Is Mel B heading back to Dancing With The Stars?

Maybe … although nothing is confirmed yet. Earlier this month we heard rumours that the All Star Edition of the dancing competition is looking at bringing back former contestants such as Mario Lopez, Kyle Massey and even current host Brooke Burke. Well now it appears Mel B is interested. She tweeted her former partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She said:

Looks like someone’s either confirmed or campaigning to be back on the All Star Edition.

The most decorated athlete in Olympic history might be adding the “Mirror Ball” Trophy to his list of awards…Michael Phelps says, “I haven’t really been known for my dancing. I know everyone who’s done it — I’ve talked to Apolo and Natalie about it, and they said they’ve enjoyed it and had a blast. I won’t say I’m ruling anything out, who knows?”

His USA Olympic Swim teammate Ryan Lochte says, “Since I’m so used to competing against Michael Phelps, I’d have him on the [Dancing with the Stars]. I could do Dancing with the Stars! Yeah, I think so.”

Yesterday, I had a story about Michael Phelps suggesting he’s open to the idea of appearing on Dancing With The Stars. His Olympic teammate Ryan Lochte also said he would be open to competing for the Mirror Ball trophy… He could end up being the next Bachelor instead.

Bachelor host Chris Harrison & Executive Producer Mike Fleiss are quite high on the idea of having Ryan as the next guy featured on reality dating show. Expect them to aggressively pursue the single Olympic superstar in the coming weeks.

According to RumorFix, reps for Drake and Chris Brown have denied new reports that the two are preparing to fight in the ring. Honestly, do you think these two even care anymore? I’m gonna go with no.

Are Kim and Kanye trying to get pregnant?

Rumor has it that Kim Kardashian has stopped taking her birth control pills so that she and Kanye could conceive a child. According to In Touch, a source said:

“Kim is ready to have babies and talks about it all the time. “

Another source said that since Kim has been on the pill for about 15 years, she is taking the “necessary measures” to make it easier to conceive.

Is Miley Cyrus heading back to TV?

Yup, but not to Disney. She’ll be making a guest appearance on 2 And A Half Men. She will guest star as the new girl in town that Angus T. Jones’ character, Jake Harper, falls for. The role must be a few episodes at least because Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) will also develop a “massive crush” on Miley’s character later on.

Was Bristol Palin sent a threatening message?

Yup.

Someone reportedly sent a suspicious package this week with a threatening message directed at Bristol Palin. TMZ.com reported that there was a note attached to the package demanding that Bristol be removed from ABC’s hit show Dancing With the Stars.

A source said the package contained a white powder, which they determined was harmless. However, the situation it’s still being treated as a credible threat.

Here’s where it gets slightly odd. The package was sent to CBS.

Fail.

Is Eva Longoria pregnant?

Contrary to reports, Eva Longoria is not pregnant.

A rep for the actress denied rumors that Eva is carrying her boyfriend Mark Sanchez’s baby. The rep said:

“Rumors of the couple being pregnant are false and absolutely not true.”

Chris Harrison of The Bachelor may be newly single, but that doesn’t mean that his friends aren’t looking out for him. Ryan Seacrest reportedly set him up with none-other-than Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette.

Ooooh! This is juicy! Eric Johnson’s ex says he and Jessica got together before they were separated.

Eric Johnson’s ex, Keri Johnson is reportedly thinking about publishing a tell-all that documents Jessica Simpson’s involvement in Keri’s failed marriage. According to Celebuzz, Keri has already started writing about when Eric started dating Jessica — when he was still married.

A source said:

“She’s always thought about writing a book through their divorce. She actually started writing during the divorce to cope with what was happening. She just wants to be honest. Keri wants to detail the divorce from her own perspective and what happened, and inevitably Jessica would be a part of that. She would talk about how they were so public with their relationship during her divorce. She’s always struggled with going public. So she’s still 50-50 about writing it.”

BTW, if you wondering, Eric and Keri were married for five years. They legally separated in October 2009. They filed for divorce in January 2010.

Reportedly, within months Eric and Jessica were dating. Eric and Jessica announced their engagement in November 2010 and in May 2012 Jessica gave birth to Maxwell.

Sheryl Crow will be joining the new season of The Voice to mentor Blake Shelton’s team!

The new season starts on March 25.

Sheryl said:

“I’ve been friends with Blake for a few years now and am honored he invited me to be an adviser on The Voice this season.”

Blake is extremely excited to have Sheryl help out his team. Blake said:

“Sheryl Crow is one of the coolest people in the music industry and to have her as an adviser on my team is pretty darn cool.”

This is a good fit for the vocal competition show because if anyone fakes it, lip-syncs or cheats, producers know she can keep a secret.

Why did Lindsay Lohan turn down Dancing With The Stars?

Lindsay Lohan may be strapped for cash these days but she is apparently not low enough to sign on for the new season of Dancing with the Stars. TMZ is reporting that Lindsay was made several offers to appear on the upcoming season of the show but turned down every one.

Sources told the website that she was offered as much as $550,000 to partake but the actress is just not interested in doing reality television. She is reportedly telling friends that she wants to focus on films.

It’s a slippery slope. By accepting the gig Lindsay would be making half a million dollars which I’m sure would help with paying her various bar tabs. On the other hand it’d mean she’d be accepting the fact that her career is basically over.

Beyonce doesn’t see anything wrong with lip-syncing!

A source close to Beyonce has said that she didn’t think there was anything wrong singing over a pre-recorded track for her performance of the National Anthem at the Inauguration on Monday (January 22st). According to Us Weekly, the source said:

“She didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. Pavarotti has done it! It was freezing out, and if she messed up just one note, that would have been the story. Everybody uses these tracks, and the music director advised it. Any big outdoor live performance is almost always with some kind of track.”

The source added that Bey didn’t completely lip-sync the song, saying:

“She did sing, but used a track.”

The source added that Beyonce is disappointed by all the controversy, saying:

“A technicality which everybody does took away from the beauty of the moment.”

In fact, a source says they saw Beyonce shopping in New Orleans this week looking very sad.

“She was surrounded by huge security guards. She didn’t really interact with anyone and did not look happy. She kept her head down.”

One thing is for sure … I can GUARANTEE you there is no way Beyonce would dare ‘sing to track’ or lip-sync at the Super Bowl halftime show next weekend. GUARANTEE!

‘Ben And Kate’ canceled?

Fox has yanked freshman sitcom Ben and Kate from the Tuesday night schedule. The network will not officially say the show is cancelled but they will be airing double episodes of Raising Hope to fill the timeslot.

While we’re on the topic of Raising Hope, Hilary Duff has signed on to guest star on an upcoming episode. Duff will be playing the ex-girlfriend of Lucas Neff’s character Jimmy.

Lindsay Lohan’s latest film gets rejected AGAIN!

Lindsay Lohan’s latest film The Canyons has been rejected by the South By Southwest Film Festival. Festival insiders say the film has quality issues and that “it’s got an ugliness and a deadness to it.”

First Sundance, now South By Southwest? Maybe Lindsay should have taken the Dancing With The Stars deal?

Don’t mess with Jenny from the Block!

Jennifer Lopez was instrumental in saving Adele’s Grammy acceptance speech at the awards ceremony over the weekend. Just before Adele began her acceptance speech, Ukranian television personality and prankster, Vitalii Sediuk rushed onto the stage. Lopez then shot Seduik a dirty look and actually shooed him away. Sediuk exited the stage and Adele didn’t even seem to notice.

Sediuk reportedly did not have a ticket or credentials.

Sediuk took Adam Levine’s seat and Adam took a seat on the floor after discovering his seat was filled.

Sediuk reportedly spent the night in jail and has a court date in March.

Sediuk is the same reporter who tried to kiss Will Smith on the mouth at the Moscow premiere of Men in Black 3.

The Wanted stepping up feud with One Direction?

The Wanted’s feud with One Direction is no secret and it’s always seemed that The Wanted might have the upper hand in it. So it’s no surprise that the group are really willing to get dirty. They are reportedly talking about involving Taylor Swift in a new song.

Jay McGuiness said that it would be really cool:

“Someone mentioned that and we thought, ‘Wow, that’s a really good idea,’ So we could get on that.”

Did Adele get into a fight with Chris Brown at The Grammys?

Adele has come forward to set the record straight regarding rumors that she told Chris Brown off during the Grammy’s this past weekend. Reports said that the singer got upset when Chris didn’t stand up for Frank Ocean when he went on stage to receive his award. A photo of Chris and Adele talking was posted online — which led to more speculation.

Adele wrote via Twitter:

“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!”

Is Mama June joining ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

TLC is denying rumors that Mama June Shannon is joining the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. The New York Daily News had previously reported the possibility that the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch would be part of the show.

Rob Kardashian is shedding the lbs!!!

Rob Kardashian is hard at work to lose the 50 pounds he gained after his breakup with Rita Ora and he is taking his Twitter followers along for the ride. The reality star has been uploading pictures of his healthy meals, workout plans, and the music that keeps him motivated as he attempts to get back his Dancing With the Stars body.

The MTV & ‘Dancing With The Stars’ star has recently lost a lot of weight and now she’s opening up about another weight issue: her eating disorder. 

Before Jersey Shore and Dancing With The Stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was a normal teenager who struggled with something that wasn’t as normal: an eating disorder.  In a recent interview she mentioned it got “really really bad”.

She says, “Cheerleading was my life in high school but it wasn’t always easy for me,”  Snooki said, recalling her more difficult times. “I started to be anorexic…..There were these little girls coming up, like freshmen, who were literally, like, 70 pounds. And I was like, my spot as a flier is going to get taken away.”

Snooki goes into more detail about her eating regiment at the time, “So I ended up starving myself,” she said. “I started eating one salad a day, and then it became, like, one cracker a day, and then it became just one grape a day……And then… just not eating at all for three days.”

She concludes, “It was a really, really, bad time for me.”
